Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or rediscovering a lifelong passion, ArtsWorks offers seniors an inviting space to connect, learn, and shine.
Through classes, workshops, and performance opportunities, participants explore acting, music, movement, and storytelling in a fun, supportive environment. ArtsWorks is about more than just theatre—it’s about friendship, expression, and staying vibrant at every stage of life.

KidsWorks at Desert TheatreWorks
Inspiring the Next Generation of Storytellers
KidsWorks is Desert TheatreWorks’ youth theatre program, dedicated to nurturing creativity, building confidence, and introducing young people to the magic of live performance. Designed for children and teens of all skill levels, KidsWorks offers a safe, supportive, and fun environment where imagination takes center stage.
From acting and movement to music and stagecraft, KidsWorks provides hands-on opportunities for students to learn, grow, and shine—both on stage and off. Our programs are crafted to not only teach the fundamentals of theatre but also develop life skills such as teamwork, self-expression, empathy, and leadership.

AFTERSCHOOL
🌸 Spring Theatre Camp – A fun-filled introduction to theatre where students explore acting, singing, and movement through games, exercises, and short performances. Perfect for first-time performers or kids who want to try something new during spring break.
☀️ Summer Theatre Camps – Our most popular program of the year! Students spend multiple weeks learning the ins and outs of theatre while rehearsing for a fully staged production. From costumes and sets to acting and choreography, campers get the full theatre experience—ending with performances for family, friends, and the community.
In addition to our camps, KidsWorks is proud to partner with Desert Sands Unified School District to bring after-school theatre programs directly to classrooms across the valley. Programs are available for grades TK–8—ask your school if KidsWorks is part of their after-school lineup!
